Why Join the TSF Discord Server?
TSF is a premier gaming community, established in 1997. We play both PC and cross-platform games (you can learn more about us). Our Discord server is focused on providing high-quality, low-distraction activities and matchmaking for gamers.
You won't get lost in the crowd. Mega-servers are often too crowded and noisy to have games with tactical focus. Lots of other servers are too small, where you infrequently meet other players. We are neither too hot nor too cold.
Newcomers welcomed, no secret handshake required. Our community is built for regular gamers who don't play under contract for a huge brand. Everybody was new once, and we want to help new gamers get involved in the scene.
Play in our games, or make your own channel and play your way. Use the "Channels & Roles" option to pick from the list of games we play. Read #create-voice-channel to set up your own channel for whatever game you please.
Frequent events are open to all. Check out the #events-calendar channel to see what organized events we have coming up. These are great opportunities to meet more experienced players and to get involved in our community.
Our server has stable administration and low drama. Built on the over twenty years of experience of TSF, our server is focused on the needs of the gamer, without all the nonsense.
Server Rules
Our aim is to maintain an orderly house without creating a ton of rules. If you use common sense, you will be fine.
We ask that you please refrain from using excessive profanity and to keep all content on the server SFW including your nickname.
All are welcomed, including those from outside clans/orgs, but recruitment on our server is prohibited as well as any conduct detrimental to our team.
Absolutely no spamming of voice or chat. If you want to advertise something non-commercial, please ask a moderator for permission first.
Do not disrupt users playing a game and instead wait for a break in the action to jump in and introduce yourself. No cheating or hacking in games.
Respect the privacy of other users by not recording or streaming them without consent. Set your nickname or status to show when you are recording or streaming.
We reserve the right to remove users without warning.
The TSF Discord server is a great place for finding other players with its looking for group (LFG) capability. This allows the user to quickly get together a group of players who are online and waiting to play. Certain LFG channels on the Discord server allow this command to be used, and users who do not wish to participate may silence the notifications only in that channel and keep the rest on. This is particularly helpful if the user wants to receive Discord notifications for game news or announcements from the TSF staff but does not want other types of notifications. The TSF Discord server instructs its staff to very carefully use notifications so that users are not annoyed.
